Holiday stockings for newborns. Reclining chairs in patient rooms. Caps for oncology patients. These special touches and countless more are the result of volunteer efforts by the Hospital’s Auxiliary.

Over 200 members strong, the Auxiliary operates the Hospital’s Gift Shop and conducts fundraisers like an annual jewelry sale and fall bazaar. Proceeds, as much as $20,000 a year, help fund such things as medical equipment, wheelchairs and other items that bring comfort to patients and visitors and contribute to making North Kansas City Hospital a great place to work.
