Physical Therapy at North Kansas City Hospital provides quality patient care, helping patients reach goals and achieve their highest functional capacity after injury, illness or other disability.

The Physical Therapy Department is a spacious (15,000 square feet) modern facility equipped with exercise gyms, mobility area, private treatment rooms and warm- and cool-water pools. Our facility offers a positive environment designed to encourage patients to strive toward their goals of increased independence and function.

Therapists provide individualized care, addressing the specific needs of each person. Treatment may include strengthening, mobility, balance, endurance and walking activities, management of painful disorders, instruction in use of adaptive equipment, wound care, agility training and training for return to sports, and customized home exercise programs.

We provide skilled intervention for the treatment of many diagnoses, including (but not limited to):
