Home Health brings the care you need right into your home. Whether it’s you or a loved one recovering from an illness or injury or living with a medical condition, we’re focused on providing the care you need.

Our dedication to oustanding performance earned us a spot on the HomeCare Elite list for 2006. The honor, given by OCS, Inc., a healthcare information company, and DecisionHealth, a medical publisher, ranks North Kansas City Hospital's Home Health Department among the top 25 percent of providers in the country.

Our nurses and therapists are specially trained in cardiology, cancer and orthopedics. We provide a multitude of services in the home, including wound care, injections, nutritional counseling, IV infusion therapy and catheter insertions, as well as physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Look to our home health aides for assistance with personal care and light housekeeping related to medical needs. Our social workers arrange community resources such as finances, food, transportation, medical equipment and respite care.

Get well. Maintain independence. These are the goals of Home Health. Our agency is certified by Medicare and accredited by the Joint Commission. Many of our employees are active on the state level in fall prevention programs.
