Hospital Accepting Applications for Summer Junior Volunteers
North Kansas City Hospital offers a year-round Junior Volunteer Program for youth ages 14-18. Students interested in volunteering for the summer only should submit an application to the Hospital by Friday, April 27 in order to be considered for the summer program which requires 25 volunteer hours from June through August.
Shifts are available Monday – Thursday mornings from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. or afternoons from 1-4 p.m. The departments include Admitting, Central Services, Children’s Learning Center, Emergency Department, Home Health, Nursing Units, Physical Therapy, Print Shop, Purchasing, the Volunteer Office and other areas.
