Chip In For Charity Open
Since 1993, the Board of Trustees of North Kansas City Hospital continues to fulfill its charitable mission by designating recipients for the Chip In For Charity Open. North Kansas City Hospital and the Medical Staff have sponsored the Chip In For Charity Open along with the support of additional sponsors, players and volunteers.
We appreciate your support either as a player, sponsor or both. We have a wide-range of sponsorship levels available.
The tournament begins at 8 a.m. and is set up as follows:
- 4-person scramble, 4 flites, 36-team field/144 players
- Catered barbecue lunch is 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the Banquet Room.
- In case of inclement weather, prizes will be awarded by draw and winners will be notified by phone. No money will be returned.
- Each player will receive a rain check redeemable for 18-holes and a cart at Paradise Pointe.
Entry fees for the Chip In For Charity Open are $500 per player or $2,000 per 4-person team. Single players are placed with other players to make a team of four. Players must be at least 16 years old. Learn more and complete entry form.
Each year, the Chip In tournament raises money for three Northland charities. The 2015 recipients are Earnest Shepherd Youth Center, Rebuilding Together Clay County and The Farmer's House. To date, over $2.4 million has been donated to help 32 area community organizations.
To become a recipient, an organization must submit specific criteria to the hospital's Board of Trustees by January 15 of the year they wish to be considered. Organizations that have received donations from the tournament proceeds within the last two years are not eligible.
