North Kansas City Hospital has valuable information about what H1N1 Flu is, causes, symptoms, treatment and ways to prevent infection.
Hospital staff are cooperating fully with the local public health department to provide early detection and containment of the H1N1 flu as we would with any infectious illness. Education is ongoing with our staff regarding the necessary precautions and treatment to ensure that we are keeping both our staff and the public safe.
As another precaution, the Hospital, along with other area hospitals, is restricting visitors under the age of 14 for nonmedical reasons. The Hospital is still providing care to people of all ages. Read more information regarding Visitor Restrictions.
