Stacy's Story

Specialty Care Supervisor, Stacy

"The biggest example of how I am respected in the workplace is through the Shared Governance Model that allows bedside nurses to be a clinical voice in regard to their practice. At North Kansas City Hospital, I am able to work closely with hospital leaders and physicians to care for our patients and my staff. My current position as Specialty Care Supervisor is both autonomous and collaborative within a team that works closely not only to share job duties, but also to learn from one another and allow each person on the team to focus on their strengths."
