After Hours/Weekend Calls

Should you need urgent medical care after hours, please call our office telephone number at 816.421.4115 to reach the on-call doctor.

All patients are seen by scheduled appointment. Same day appointments are often available for sick or urgent conditions; however we encourage you to call as early in the day as possible. To schedule an appointment, call our office at 816.421.4115. We would be happy to help you find an appointment time convenient for you.

If you are new to our office, please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Arriving early will allow enough time to get pertinent information entered into your medical record. For subsequent appointments please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so that we may verify and update your information. Be sure to bring your insurance card and applicable copays or co-insurance amounts. Please also bring any medications your child is currently taking.

Children under 18 years of age should have a legal guardian present for all visits. If someone other than a legal guardian must bring the child, please provide us with written permission.

Complementary Prenatal Visits

We know choosing your baby’s pediatrician is an important decision. That’s why we offer a complementary prenatal visit. During your visit to Meritas Health Pediatrics, you will have the opportunity to tour our newly renovated office, talk with one of the physicians and have your questions answered, and meet our staff. We look forward to caring for your baby!

Well-Child Visits

We recommend regularly scheduled preventative visits with your pediatrician to monitor growth and development of your child. Call our office at 816.421.4115 to schedule an appointment.

Prescription Refill Request

At your office visit, please be sure to inform us of any medicine refills your child will need prior to his/her next visit.
