The physicians at Meritas Health Psychiatry strive to improve their patient's physical and mental health through the application of the most up-to-date treatment.

They are known for their compassionate and conservative care of patients with mental illness. Their philosophy is that medication is just a small part in the treatment of patients. They promote common sense psychiatry which includes providing patients with as much information as possible about their illness. A commonly used statement is that "through more education, there is less medication."
