Celebrating a new partnership for oncology excellence in the Northland
The grand opening for both the radiation oncology and medical oncology offices is January 21, 5:30-7:30 p.m. 2750 Clay Edwards Drive, Medical Plaza building on Hospital campus.
With the partnership announced June 2013 between North Kansas City Hospital and The University of Kansas Cancer Center, Northland patients are assured of receiving the most comprehensive cancer care, including access to National Cancer Institute funded clinical trials, in a convenient location close to home.
Radiation and Medical Oncology
North Kansas City Hospital and The University of Kansas Cancer Center have partnered in the management and operations of the radiation oncology program. The University of Kansas Cancer Center will manage and operate the medical oncology program located next to the radiation oncology office. Both offices are on the lower level of the Medical Plaza building, situated on the Northwest corner of the North Kansas City Hospital campus. Patients will now have even greater access to treatment options and clinical trials only available at a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center.
