Primary Care Clinic

Seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner to join Meritas Health, a subsidiary of North Kansas City Hospital.  The ideal candidate will work independently to provide preventive care and urgent care to adult patients.  He/she will also develop and implement patient education programs to employees of a large organization in the Kansas City (Missouri) Northland area.  The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the collaborating physician whose primary care practice is at the same clinic location. 

Meritas Health primary care clinics are recognized by the NCQA as Level III Patient-Centered Medical Homes.

Meritas Health & North Kansas City Hospital

Meritas Health is an employed physician network and subsidiary of North Kansas City Hospital, 451-bed, Level II Trauma Center.  It is comprised of over 100 physicians including specialties in internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, cardiology, endocrinology, general surgery, ENT, pulmonary medicine, neurology, neurosurgery and occupational health.  North Kansas City Hospital is a full service, 451-bed, level II trauma center with all private rooms; annual admissions are 19,000 and 61,000 emergency visits.  We deliver about 1800 babies each year and have a level III NICU.
