Cancer Resource Library

In August 2008, the Hospital's first Cancer Resource Library opened in honor of Sharon Curl, with financial assistance from her family, friends and coworkers from Food and Nutrition Services, in addition to funds provided by North Kansas City Hospital's Auxiliary. Sharon was a Food and Nutrition Services employee who died of cancer in March of 2008.  Located in Northland Cancer Center's 5th floor link (the walkway between the Hospital and Pavilion), the library is open to the public and employees who want information about cancer care. There is free literature on a variety of cancers and related topics with internet access.
