Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation
Located on the 4th Floor in the main hospital building, the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Department features 24 private patient rooms and a common dining room. The amenities, along with our compassionate clinical staff, contribute to the home-like environment.
Our orthopedic hip fracture and amputation programs include a team of experts that works with patients and their families to establish goals and help patients return to their prior functional independence.

Patients participate in a minimum of three hours of therapy per day. Prior to admission your physician will write an order for a free admission screen to determine eligibility. The screen includes prior and current levels of function, a medical assessment and pre-authorization of insurance with approval through the unit Medical Director and Program Director.
Most inpatient rehabilitation takes place on the 4th Floor, but some treatments may include visits to our Physical Therapy Unit, a modern, 15,000-square-foot facility equipped with exercise gyms, a mobility area, private treatment rooms and warm and cool water pools.
