Respiratory Therapy
Few things are as critical to the existence of life as breathing.
Respiratory Therapy at North Kansas City Hospital is committed to
maintaining a patient’s airway in any situation. Breathing difficulties
occur from strokes, heart attacks, asthma, bronchitis, emphysema and
more.
Using treatments individualized to the patient, our RTs work to return
breathing functions to normal for patients throughout North Kansas City
Hospital. We regularly coordinate our efforts with doctors, nurses and
other therapists.
North Kansas City Hospital has again earned the Quality Respiratory Care
Recognition (QRCR) award for the eighth consecutive year. The award is
part of a national program aimed at helping patients and families make
informed decisions about the quality of respiratory care services
available in hospitals.
