North Kansas City Hospital Ranks in Top Five Percent Nationally for Home Health

SHP Home Health AwardNorth Kansas City Hospital’s Home Health program has received Strategic Healthcare Programs’ Premier Performer award for achieving a patient satisfaction score that ranked in the top five percent of all SHP home health clients in 2016. SHP’s healthcare data analytics and benchmarking provide real-time, actionable performance metrics for more than 5,000 home health and hospice providers nationwide.

2016 award recipients were selected by SHP after reviewing and ranking the overall satisfaction score for more than 2,200 home health providers, according to a news release.

North Kansas City Hospital’s Home Health program offers a range of services to help patients stay in their home while recovering from an illness or injury or while living with a medical condition. The program delivers skilled nursing, supportive care, therapy and social services to residents of Clay, Platte, Ray and Jackson Counties, servicing more than 3,000 patients each year.
