North Kansas City Hospital and Hy-Vee Announce Grand Opening of
Gladstone Meritas Health Express Clinic

Meritas Health ExpressGladstone residents now have a convenient new choice for nonemergency healthcare. Meritas Health, a subsidiary of North Kansas City Hospital, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its second Meritas Health Express walk-in care clinic inside the Gladstone Hy-Vee, located at 7117 N. Prospect Ave. The location is the second of five express care clinics planned for the Northland.

“There is a growing demand for accessible, convenient care,” said Linda Coventon, Meritas Health network executive. “Meritas Health Express helps bridge the gap between a primary care provider and the emergency room. It also gives patients the option to receive care after-hours or on weekends when primary care offices are traditionally closed.”

HyVeeThe walk-in clinic is staffed by nurse practitioners with medical oversight provided by physicians with Meritas Health, the largest network of healthcare provider practices in the Northland. Open seven days a week, the clinic will provide medical services for adults and children 18 months and older. Services include immunizations, physical exams, wellness screenings, and treatment for minor illnesses, injuries and skin conditions.

“Taking care of our customers is a top priority for Hy-Vee. We are excited to work with Meritas Health to bring Gladstone residents access to convenient health and wellness services,” said Nick Haider, store director of the Gladstone Hy-Vee.
