Pumpkin Perks


In a blender, combine: 

  • Ice
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup low-fat plain yogurt,
  • ¼ cup pureed pumpkin
  • A pinch each of cinnamon and ginger


Create desserts, soups and preserves. Toasted seeds make a great snack.


Fresh is best, but canned pumpkin keeps many of its health benefits.
