Stephen L. Reintjes Jr., MDDr. Reintjes Jr., a neurosurgeon with Meritas Health Neurosurgery, presented “Get Your Back on Track” during an NKCH Lunch & Learn in June. He talked about chronic back pain, including its causes, nonoperative measures, surgical preparation and minimally invasive surgery. He and Kristen Evans, PT, DPT, also discussed our Move Plus physical therapy clinic.

Scott M. Shorten, MDDr. Shorten, a neurologist with Meritas Health Neurology, was featured in several May Fox 4 sleep awareness segments. He discussed several sleep issues, including the number of recommended hours, health risks related to lack of sleep, techniques for getting a good night’s rest and how sleep studies can accurately diagnose at disorders.
