After-hours Care

When you need health care or testing for your employees outside regular office hours, North Kansas City Hospital is here to assist you.

After-hours care through our Emergency Department features an accredited lab that tests for drug and alcohol (breath and blood)—periodic, random, for-cause, post-accident, return-to-duty and follow-up testing. Once a screening is complete, you get results by phone within 24 hours, unless a non-negative result is received. These results may take 48 to 72 hours before a report can be made.
