North Kansas City Hospital has the largest and most comprehensive hospital-based pain management clinic in Kansas City, with 16 pre-op rooms, six fluoroscopy suites and 24 recovery beds. Our experienced and compassionate board-certified pain specialists will partner with you to relieve your pain and make life worth living again. We also offer alternative approaches to pain relief, such as massage and acupuncture.

These procedures are performed by registered radiology technicians using fluoroscopic (continuous X-ray) guidance for diagnosis and therapy. Psychological evaluations performed by a psychologist help us determine if a patient is a good candidate for medication management, drug infusion pumps or spinal cord stimulation.

Our board-certified doctors have advanced training in pain management and will work closely with you, your primary care physician and other specialists on a customized plan to treat your pain. As part of our hospital-based pain program, our specialists are available 24/7 for patients who need emergency care, with complete access to all hospital resources and staff. That allows for quick physician-to-physician consultations for multidisciplinary care when needed and faster pain relief for you.
