Services We Offer

Asthma Treatment

From medication and respiratory therapy to advanced treatments such as bronchial thermoplasty we work to find the best treatment option for you. Explore our asthma services.

Bronchoscopy Procedures

A bronchoscopy allows doctors to see inside the airway using a specialized scope to diagnose lung diseases, including lung cancer. Bronchoscopy can also be used to treat some lung conditions.

Diagnostic Tests and Imaging

An accurate diagnosis is the first step toward finding a treatment that works. By using advanced imaging technology, including CT and PET scanning and pulmonary function testing, your doctor can pinpoint the cause of your condition and start treating you.

Hospice Care

NorthCare Hospice House, a program of Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care, provides aggressive symptom management of late stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema and pulmonary fibrosis with the goal of increased comfort, reduced hospital stays and fewer emergency room visits.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Our nationally accredited outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation program provides comprehensive services for people with chronic lung conditions, helping them improve lung capacity, increase energy and get the most out of daily living.

Respiratory Therapy

Whether you need temporary relief from chronic asthma, bronchitis or emphysema or emergency care related to a heart attack, stroke or shock, our certified respiratory therapists are ready to help you restore and maintain normal breathing function. They supply oxygen, administer medication to the lungs or measure lung function, depending on your needs.

Sleep Disorder Care

Our sleep specialists are skilled in diagnosing and treating sleep-related breathing disorders, such as sleep apnea. Learn more about our Diagnostic Sleep Center.

Support Services and Education

An important component of our pulmonary program is education and support. The more you know about your lung condition, the better equipped you’ll be to manage it. We work with you one-on-one during rehabilitation sessions and provide other educational resources, including the Better Breathers Club, a monthly support group for people with lung disease and their families.
