Graston Technique

Graston Technique® therapy breaks down scar tissue and reduces inflammation that causes pain, loss of motion and stiffness.

During treatment, a specially-trained therapist glides a stainless steel instrument along your muscles, tendons or ligaments with just enough pressure to detect scar tissue or adhesions and break them up.

Stretching and strengthening exercises prescribed as part of your treatment plan help rebuild the soft tissue injury into healthy functioning tissue.
Most patients receive two treatments per week for four to five weeks, with improvement noted within two to three treatments.
