North Kansas City Hospital’s Home Health, opens new tab program has been named a Strategic Healthcare Programs, opens new tab’ Best Superior Performer for 2017. This award is given to agencies ranked in the top 20% nationwide in overall patient outcomes and patient satisfaction scores.

The annual program acknowledges home health agencies that consistently provide high quality service to their patients. Strategic Healthcare Programs reviews and ranks the overall Home Health Care Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems’ (HHCCAHPS) patient satisfaction scores for more than 2,400 home health providers to determine recipients.

North Kansas City Hospital’s Home Health program offers a range of services to help patients stay in their home while recovering from an illness or injury or while living with a medical condition. Staff provide skilled nursing, supportive care, therapy and social services to more than 3,000 patients each year in Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties.
