Excellent. Spent time talking with me even though I got off topic a couple of times. Very thorough and knowledge about my medical history. Nurse and all staff was kind and efficient.

Dr Mills listens to you, makes suggestions on other things to help you, and prescribes appropriate prescriptions. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Overall positive experiences.
I saw him one time, with him telling me there wasn't anything wrong with my heart and a few months later ended up with a pacemaker. And since the surgery I haven't even seen him. Was supposed to see his nurse practitioner, and on my way to the appointment got stuck in a traffic accident for 45 minutes, I was 10 minutes late and she wouldn't see me, after I drove an hour to get there. Now that's just wrong and rude and greedy! Told me they would call and set up another appointment and nope, never did. I finally had to call to set one up and I still haven't seen him! Follow up? Nope don't happen. And dear Lord don't be late!

He made assumptions of what another doctor said instead of doing his own test he didn’t order any labs. Any bloodwork only copied with somebody else did, and then made a judgment based off his personal opinion instead of asking a few more questions and it’s affecting me every day since… And I was so excited to meet him and see what he could tell me And my Care at North Kansas City Hospital after that has been complete crap because of what’s in my chart I told him he should be ashamed of himself
Dr Mills took his time and explained the best course of action for my problem. I left his office confident that we were on the right track for my recovery. I highly recommend Dr Mills.

I, and my husband, a physician, thought Dr. Mills was very nice. But, when I logged into NKCH MyChart, I became very angry. I was reading about my visit and noticed that 80% of the history/physical was fabricated! He only listened to my heart and lungs. Everything else on physical finding was false. It's lazy and dangerous. 5/27/24 Since no one has bothered to "reach out" regarding my review from visit on 5/14/24. I'll leave it as is.
We both liked Dr Mills. Very nice, friendly and unlike other doctors, he seemed interested and listened to your concerns. He looked very relaxed/laid back too.

Extremely thorough and very good communicator
I developed atrial flutter at the end of a cardiac rehab session and was immediately taken to the emergency room in the North Kansas City Hospital. I was seen by Dr. Mills who diagnose my problem and navigated the treatment session. Could not have asked for better care he is a very congenial caring physician.
Dr. Mills had a great personality, answered all my questions, and made me comfortable in my decision.
Dr. Richard Mills was outstanding. He listened to what I was saying and came up with a plan before I left the office. The office staff was amazing as well and made sure that I had my appts scheduled, proper documents uploaded, and understood my treatment plan. I will always refer patients to this clinic. The staff was compassionate and caring to not only myself but everyone that came in and out of the office.
